Tamboers Winkel

There's nothing better than pushing through media deadlines with a vision of going somewhere fabulous egging you on...today I was picturing my late afternoon coffee break at Tamboers Winkel in Tamboerskloof (we're in Cape Town FYI). Coffee there is really good (still not as good as Espressolab) but well prepared- the DeLuxe brand. Visit this gem of a spot...Monday through Sunday till 7pm. You can also order a rotisserie chicken, usually ready by 5pm daily. For the kitchen rebel, this is the easy way out. I'm trying one tonight for the first time & will report back. Happy Tuesday*
