Lord Neethling Restaurant, Stellenbosch

Fabulous surprise yesterday when my Fleur du Cap Theatre Awards client took me to lunch at the Lord Neethling (pronounced Neatling) restaurant, on the beautiful Neethlingshof wine estate. That long driveway through the tall trees is quite something...so beautiful. The food was delicious, prepared by chef Reinhard Nanny. All 3 of us had the mild prawn & chicken curry with soft old fashioned rice, paired with the superb Neethlingshof Gewürztraminer. Creme Brûlée & a red cappucino for dessert & I almost rolled out the door. People from Afar, put on your To Do list when you come to Cape Town!
