Athol Fugard, Playwright

Athol Fugard is South Africa's greatest living playwright. This was taken 2 days ago in his apartment in Sea Point, Cape Town, after an in depth interview with Rapport newspaper, as part of their Leermeester series. Mr. Fugard is currently directing his new play which he co- wrote in Afrikaans with academic Riana Steyn. It's called 'Die Laaste Karretjiegraf' & it's playing at the Fugard Theatre, named after him, until 23 February.
