50 shades of green & a picnic at Warwick Wine Estate...
Summer in Cape Town, so many stunning destinations in and just outside of the Mother City. My choice yesterday was a picnic in a pod at Warwick Wine estate in Stellenbosch (off the R44, just past Klapmuts - only 45 minutes away). Good food, an amazing setting, great wine and 50 shades of green under blue, blue skies. It was utter perfection - People From Near and Afar, you need to add it to your Cape Town 'things to do' bucket list.....take a look...
At far left, the pod, with table and benches and everything you need for a great picnic...
The view through the weeping willow and across the lake...
A glass of delish White Lady chardonnay (good to know before you order that it's R165 a bott)
And Oscar made fast work of his picnic goodies...
....which in turn led to an essential nap on the softest grass....
Even my wine glass was drowsy...
Snapped at grass roots level, literally...
Vines...
Cheesecake in a jar....
That sky...what did I tell you?
The end...
