Motorbike fix in Berlin...

I'm a dedicated wife, what can I say, following Lateral Paul, the obsessed petrolhead, to Urban Motor workshop in Berlin today. We took the U Bahn to Jannowitzbrucke (there should be an umlatte on the 'u' but I'm blonde, I don't know how), walked a short way and then Paul spotted it and practically ran into the place, such was his excitement. We met Peter there, the guy in charge of merchandising and product...the other two members of the U.M team, Henry and Ufo weren't there. The shop is stylishly done out...the product is high end and the store layout is great. But it was the workshop next door that really got Paul going. Loads of old bikes, hand-made in old and new metal, with BMW as the dominant brand. At Urban Motor they focus on traditional values yet simultaneously hold to trend....the bikes are works of art...
