A Parrot & a Kitten

Byrd loves yoghurt & so does Felix. Byrd had just been dipping his beak into the glass when Felix appeared. I think Felix thought having bird for breakfast may have been a better plan. Both my cats are very nervous of our parrot, whose really is called Byrd, for lack of finding a suitable name for him/her- we don't even know the gender of our feathery family member! If either of our cats wanders too close to Bryd's cage, they risk being nipped & are often chased out the room. Byrd has no fear.

Two Cats

Petite eyes Felix & Feliz eyes Petite. The feline gingers in my family ... Petite is still highly annoyed by the kitten & barely tolerates him & gives him plenty of cat slaps. Methinks things will change when Felix grows up.

Another Kitten

This little girl was found yesterday in a car engine....that had been running! I got a call from a friend Anna, desperate for help. Well you know moi, a part time kitten rescuer....so I brought her home, thankfully uninjured & had a verrrry bad night, no sleep, obvs. Got busy on Twitter & Facebook straightaway & good news, Anna just found a home for her...I'm so relieved. She is still so traumatized but will hopefully calm down soon & make her new family very happy*

Felix is growing too quickly. His eyes have gone from bright blue to steel gray, his legs are longer & so is his fur. The good news is he & Petite play together now...less hissing & fussing from her...she's more tolerant of him. Pet unity....
