Sushi in a superb setting, in captivating Cape Town...

On a smoking hot summer's day, with the barometer pushing 34 degrees in the shade, here's a fabulous lunch or dinner option: sushi on the upper deck at Harbour House at the V&A Waterfront, chased by a chilled glass of vino, or a mojito or a cold beer in a frosted glass. Sounds good right? That's because it is - and excellent at that! Great cuisine made even better by the stellar views that surround the deck...Signal Hill on the one side, merging into the Waterfront hustle and bustle and then into the Quay 4 harbour with Table Bay in the distance. What could be better? Not much I tell you, People from Near and Afar...not much....

Proteas in vases all around the deck..it's my fave flower..a South African national treasure...

Lunch is served...Oscar is certainly having a good weekend of top end food...

My personal fave, the new style sashimi...it's actually better than the dish of the same name at Willoughbys...yes, I said it...

The harbour lies yonder...

Harbour House Waterfront is next to Cape Union Mart / www.harbourhouse.co.za @harbourhousevna
