A very South African show...'Kalahari Karoo Blues'

In this fascinating production, South African musician, song writer & director David Kramer, a living legend, brings together musicians from areas such as the Karoo, the Hardeveld & the country Botswana...people who plays their unusual handmade instruments, in a unique way. Their music comes from a handmade violin (fenjoro), a coffee tin, a guitar that is played with a teaspoon....it's remarkable - a show with great integrity that reaches into the soul. These gentle folk were once accused by White people of playing the devil's music, if you can believe that. South Africa back then with its poisonous legalised belief system. I'm so glad it's behind us. Lest we forget....
